Managing Ethyl Acetate Odors in Particle Size Analysis Laboratories

Wet laser particle size analysis often requires ethyl acetate as a dispersing organic solvent,

but its rapid room-temperature evaporation creates persistent odors and health hazards like dizziness and headaches.

Because ethyl acetate vapor is three times heavier than air, it settles near the floor, posing both inhalation and ignition risks.

GT SCIEN solves this issue with localized Toxic Gas Purifiers (TOGA-M10), effectively capturing solvent vapors directly at the emission source.

As demonstrated in a case study with Company Y, installing GT SCIEN's movable or stand-type purifiers removes harmful vapors, eliminates chemical odors, and ensures a safe, compliant laboratory workspace.
